Welcome to our traditional German Beer Garden which has a distinctive urban flare and provides our patrons with a gathering place featuring multiple bars, flat screen televisions, and long communal tables that encourage socializing, meeting new people and stimulating conversations over Authentic German and American food, wine and of course BEER!

It’s fitting for Redd’s Biergarten to make its home “In the Heart of Newark’s Arena District” due to the city’s rich beer history with the likes of Ballantine Brewery, G. Krueger Brewing Company and Anheuser-Bush, which helped shape the city in the early 20^th. century. Our Biergarten is the only establishment on Newark’s restaurant row with entrances conveniently located at both 218 Market Street and directly across the street from the Prudential Center at 37 Edison Place in the RockPlaza Lofts complex.

Our 7,000 square-foot traditional “Bierhalle” also features a private dining area so we can accommodate both small and intimate gatherings along with very large corporate events, weddings and private parties. Additionally, we offer off premise catering services as well. The owners of Redd’s Biergarten are looking forward to establishing a similar relationship with the NJ Devils, Seton Hall Basketball, sports fans, concert goers, and Newark’s general and business population.
